Our Story
Wheelnutz Garage started humbly in the home garage of Jade and Gavin on the Gold Coast, with a non-running Nissan Patrol, a young man with ASD, and a qualified mechanic as its very first employee. From these modest beginnings, Wheelnutz has grown into a highly recognised, award-winning program unlike anything else in Australia. Celebrated as leaders in both the disability and automotive sectors, Wheelnutz is breaking new ground—innovating, inspiring, and creating real, meaningful employment outcomes for people with disabilities who never imagined they could build a career in the automotive industry they love.
